WHICH PROPERTIES QUALIFY FOR THIS LOAN PROGRAM?
The Welcome Back Home Loan Program is limited to homes in Orleans Parish which the home buyer intends to
make her/his principal residence. This loan program is not available for rental property. The program is
also restricted by the following total development costs (i.e. land and improvement value).

* Household income for purchasers of two-unit new construction must comply
with maximum permissible income limits
If you are purchasing land to build a totally new home, the total price of the land plus the cost
of newly constructed home cannot exceed the above listed purchase price limits. You may not qualify
for a Welcome Back Home Loan if the land was owned by the borrower more than two (2) years
before the time the construction begins.
